Student restaurant where everyone is welcome. Great atmosphere with excellent prices. Beer is much cheaper here than central Reykjavik. If you are staying at the Radisson Saga then it is just across the road and much cheaper place to have dinner and a beer. Good selection of food on the menu, I had the steak which was excellent.

Best prices in Iceland, best place for food/drinks in Iceland unless they are showing football.

Nice lively and well behaved crowd of mainly students but a smattering of us oldies. There are also a little shop selling some food and snack items with lots of places to sit. It is of course a University so can be busy at peak times and we were lucky so early in the evening to get a seat. The staff were helpful and friendly and there is a good menu for Meat eaters vegetarians and vegans. Beer is a little cheaper than elsewhere. We had a Veggie burger and fries. This was excellent but not noteworthy. Remember to clear your own table. As everywhere here you can pay by card and this appears to be the normal way people pay. Students get a hefty discount on beer as an FYI. The meal and a coke came to about £16 for two which is pretty exceptional here in Iceland. We were at the Radisson Blu Saga a business hotel just over from the University so it. Makes it particularly convenient or about a half hour from the city harbour. I did not sample the beer but it appeared to have a good selection.
