Beautiful historic building that offers exactly what you need after a long day visiting the city or at the end of your Camino. The rooms are very basic, a bed, wardrobe and a small bathroom (it was a twin room in our case). The pressure of the water was wonderful and as towels are provided the shower, with fantastic views by the way, it's one of those little pleasures of life. The location in the city at just few meters from the cathedral makes it a perfect spot for visits. A big continental breakfast buffet is provided. There's a bit for everyone and the ensure you begin your day full of energy. The place also have a coffee shop and a beautiful shop that I recommend to visit. They also offer a dinner menu in case you want to stay. The jewel of the place for me it's the stunning cloister where you can find a little spot of piece, with a garden, and some outdoor sitting perfect for the good weather. You can storage your luggage if you arrive before time of you have some spare hours before you leave the city.

It's not really a 5-star place compared to some others like San Francisco Monumento down the street but the price is so much better and the location is exceptional right off the north end of the cathedral by the arch. Great breakfast buffet. I've stayed here many times. Staff is always professional.

The place is majestic to stay in and you really feel a sense if history. I gave it a low review mainly because the breakfast staff were rude, the breakfast itself was extremely basic (even in Spanish standards) and the room was not clean enough. There were a lot of hairs on the floor and I also find dirty underwear under the bed!

It is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy, in a magic and mistic place as Santiago de Compostela, after making walking part or the whole stretch of the French Way till Praza do Obradoiro, in front of Santiago de Compostela Cathedral. It should be highlighted that you do not need to be a pilgrim onn El Camino to stay at this place. Just as a tourist visiting Santiago de Compostela you could (and should, I would say!) stay there.
