Might just be the best museum on the island. Tons of information that is well represented with videos, plaques and artifacts. A nice short tour to start the visit to start the visit that gives an overview of the museum. The walk thru the air raid shelter itself is incredible.

A little pricey, but worth it! The museum is very informative. The underground air raid shelter is a must-see! The tunnels are shockingly long and very interesting.

Really great museum there's so much really great info on WW2 in Malta, keep in mind this museum is only about WW2 not about any other wars like WW1 or the great siege. That said if you're interested in WW2 history, this is the place. The air raise bunkers are amazingly vast, we actually spent way more time here that we originally planned just because of how many tunnels there are, very big warning to anyone who is claustrophobic or scared of the dark.

This museum is very small compare with British imperial war museum. But the abri is incredible. It is good experience to visit.

One of the best of museums on Malta. 😊 If you are in to what war did to the one living in Malta this is for you. And its in a building on top of tunnels, that was used as bombshelter and dugg out by hand. The guidet tour is nice, and its audioguide as well. Waking around in Birgu after is nice too.
