Panama was amazing! I took the Diablo Rojo bus from the airport to downtown! I left the airport, walked right, across the street to the Bus Stop. I paid .50 cents instead I of the $30 buck the tax drivers harassed me about at the Airport!

Vasco Nunez de Balboa was a Spanish explorer who was lead across Panama in 1513 by locals from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific coast (at that time known as Sea of the South). A man of the 15th and 16th centuries his life's history is a mixture of oral tradition and written documentation. He did establish the first Spanish city in the Panama and was leader accused of treason and executed in 1519. The statue is nicely illuminated at night
