One of the best restaurants in Slovakia. You can have a great experience when you come to this store. The dishes, both meat and fish, are avant-garde and wonderful. This is the only place in Slovakia where these dishes can be made. No matter what you eat, you can ask a service person if you get lost. Because the serviceman is wonderful. Always give the perfect answer. They will also tell you the recommended drinks that match the dishes. Please try it once!
We had testing meny with local wine. Some dishes top class while some was not good at all. The wine was good but he waiter did not know how to handle the cutlery and some wine glasses was dirty... overall it was a nice experience but the price in comparison to the quality and standards result in strong number 3.
If you're looking for some fine dining but with a personal touch then Globo is your place. We came here after reading a few good reviews and it all of those reviews were right. It's an old building with an older interior that they have cleaned up and modernized, so it feels good from the start. All staff was imme welcoming and kind, but also really professional. And then, the food. We went for the five course tasting menu, with wine pairing and it was just excellent in every way. Even the price was very reasonable (90 € per person). The venison tenderloin was possibly the best meat I've ever had. The restaurant has an outspoken objective of being named best restaurant in Slovakia and it seems they're well on their way. No Michelin stars yet, but it sure will come.
We went for the tasting menu such, as seems to be the way for this pay off the world, was actually a sample of dishes from the main menu. They were mostly pleasant, although the fish was tasteless and did not work with the excessive sesame seeds and teriyaki sauce. It was a nice meal, and all the food was presented to a very high standard, but I feel there are better options for the price, for example Selavi. The restaurant itself was far too hot and home to too many insects.
Fantastic high-end restaurant which is not afraid to do some experiments, giving you some not so conventional alternatives next to traditional food. The service is friendly and reliable, the wine card is good and the location is very nice.
