Lovely accommodation ideally located in the centre of Manchester. I had a two night stay for business in January 2020. The rooms was clean and very spacious with all the amenities I required. Food was lovely. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. A great nothing is too much attitude. I will definitely return.

Rustic, heritage hotel with a tall ceiling in the room that lends to its grandeur. Staff are approachable and friendly. Amenities are somewhat dated, however, whilst the elevators are somewhat smaller than usual, and it does take some time to arrive during the busier hours.

Very good hotel in the middle of Manchester. Tram stop right in front of the hotel. Rooms just renovated, high quality. Our room was very spacious. Good service and very friendly waiter in the hotel lobby.

Stayed in a suite, huge room with lounge for only £120. A really iconic place, great for afternoon tea also. Only problem was that most of the spa rooms were out of order, So no steam bath for me. Recommend that you ask on checkin if you plan to use the spa facilities and ask for a discount if they aren’t!

Not quite what we were expecting for the price. We had booked a double bed room and they tried to put us in twin single bed rooms, twice, before we got a double bed room. The windows don't open and the room was very stuffy. The bathroom was somewhat scruffy, with cracked tiles and stains on the floor. Breakfast is not included and cost an extra £15 each. The toast was either just warm bread, or burnt, nothing in between. The English breakfast (buffet style) was all lukewarm at best. Only one of the three lifts was working, which meant long waits. We won't be going there again. Sorry Midland, but I have to leave an honest opinion.
