Definitely one of the best hostels I've ever been to. Great atmosphere, cheerful staff, clean and cozy rooms.

Small, cozy place. Real hostel feel. Great place if you are backpacking. I got good tips for cheap bars with not many tourist/expats. Kyiv is amazing unexplored city! Plan to stay at least 3-4 days. There is a lot to see and experience. If you planning to visit Chernobyl this hostel has good deals, cheaper than agencies, especially if you need to book last minute.

Be advised you can only stay for a week, and you do have to climb a few flights of stairs to get up there, but they are friendly, laid back and have laundry service. Also very helpful in guidance of where to go in town and have a connection with tours.

One of my favourite hostels. Its not in the centre but for me that was a plus. Its right next to one if the best and cheapest bars ive been to not just in Kiev but anywhere! Very close to public transport or a nice walk from most places you would likely go in Kiev. The centre is a 15 minute walk. The hostel says that it is “no frills” but it actually has a lot more frills than a lot of hostels. Great atmosphere, great nights out and it made my stay in Ukraine unforgettable.

It's a great hostel. There are a lot of backpackers and friendly people. The location is very good. I definitely will be back to make the tour to chernobyl.
