This is a quaint aquarium, tucked away on the strip of the pier in San Francisco. I went on a weekday and there was a gentle flow of families, but not overcrowded. There was an underwater glass tunnel, interactive marine life demonstrations and a cool projector animation. Underrated though, and what I loved most was the view of the harbour outside of the aquarium; it's just breathtaking! All in all, it was a great family trip.

It was truly a magical experience! They are doing a great work and the staff are extremely friendly. I also like the fact that the tickets are valid all day long and you can walk in and out. In terms of conservation work, their talks are truly informative and beneficial to sensitize people of the threats to wildlife.

Well worth the visit if you are ever in the SF area, the underwater tunnels are mesmerizing! There are 2 underwater tunnel areas, one for smaller fish and another for the sharks and bigger fish. The tickets were not cheap ($30 per adult) but they included a free Madame Tussauds ticket (1 free ticket for every aquarium ticket), so the cost was definitely worth it! I don't think I would go to the wax museum again, but would definitely go back to the aquarium if the tickets are cheaper 😅.

I suppose my expectations were high given the aquarium is on the bay. The value for the admission price is lacking, but I suppose tourists will pay anything really. The best exhibit in my opinion are the otters. My kids had a lot of fun interacting with them as the otters played and swam. If you have the ability, the Denver Aquarium in Denver, Colorado is far better in every way!

Very good place to go to see some cool aquatic life, rays, sharks and more! However, do be aware that if it is a particularly busy time (such as a public holiday) some areas can get very backed up. Would recommend, they also issued a ticket to madame tussaudes for free with the purchase of aquarium tickets.
