I absolutely enjoy attending this park. It is magnificent. I love hiking around the trails. Bring a blanket if you are having a picnic, there are no tables. I would give it five stars if there were not gang members hanging around.
Great park if you are into hiking. I live right across the street. No picnic tables which would be a plus. The trails are well maintained, bit it needs a set of restrooms. Dog friendly, and at the West side of the park is the kids play around. Remember every adult must be accompanied by a kid.
I can see Buena Vista Heights and the treetops of the park from my window. I don't spend as much time there as I should, but it's surprisingly big, with paths going every which way. A very quiet, peaceful place for a walk or a sit on a bench.
Really really nice park. It is a large park with plenty of trees, trails, hills, and beautiful sights. Would be a 5 star park if it wasn't full of homeless hippie punk kids
Ive been going to this park off and on for years. It's a nice park but has a reputation for nighttime activities that makes me avoid it when the sun starts to wane. Last time I was there there was a portable bathroom set up out by the Haight street entrance. I think it was one of the pit stop bathrooms.
