What a beautiful museum. Plan to be there at least three hours. We didn’t and we regret it. Only had time to look at the ground floor. There are hearing aids that explain some of the paintings which is really cool also because they are free. Can’t take pictures.

I first of all went to the little cafe at the museum and had a very tasty Danish pastry and coffee for a late breakfast. Then I went into the museum itself. I really enjoyed the pictures on display. It is one if the first museums where I have loved virtually all the pictures. They are scenes of Spanish life and views of other European places by Spanish artists. They are beautiful pictures and the free audio guide was very useful explaining more about specific pictures. The guides were kept by the luggage lockers and I'm really glad I had one to explain in English more about the artists. There was a small exhibition on toulose lutrecs circus pictures but it was the main permanent collection I enjoyed more. The pictures are arranged by period on the second floor, and include some more modern paintings. A very good 90 minutes and we'll worth the 10 euros entrance.

You don't have to be arty to enjoy the variety of paintings from various artists. Much larger than thought. Beautiful building and nice little eaterie. Glad my wife decided we should visit

Beautiful interiors and of course amazing art - very andalusian. There is also terrace surrounded by Málaga rooftops. Very nice place. Free on Sundays!
