Really good layout, you need to spare a couple of hours if you want to enjoy it as there is so much to see, discover and learn. Free entry for locals that's great. I would give it a 5 start mark if there was an area specialized for kids, that way parents could break the visit and get to enjoy more of the museum. Definitely a place you must visit as a resident or a tourist.

Very interesting exhibition in a really beautifully restored building. One small complaint: there's a lot to see and it would be nice to have seating in the galleries, as in most other museums & art galleries. Especially as a lot of the visitors are of 'mature' years! Otherwise, excellent.

Excellent museum. Free for EU citizens or €1.50 for everyone else. Took my time and strolled throughout the floors. The archaeological floor was very interesting and had many exhibits. There was also a free orchestra concert in the courtyard when I was there, which was a bonus

Nice museum, went on a weeknight and it ended up being free. We were almost the only ones at the museum and it closes pretty late. They have a small collection of Picasso as well which is nice.

What a building! Fabulous. The town must be so proud of this superb piece of architecture. The collection is great too. Particularly the roman and Greek pots. Highly recommended. Show them your EU passport it's free. Brexiteers now pay double.
