This has always been one of my favorite attractions in San Francisco, and you can have a great time here for just one dollar! And while I preferred it in the old location at the Cliff House this location is much more accessible to the zillions of tourists who visit SF every year. Added some photos of my favorite machines here. Special tip: make sure to flatten a penny in one of the several machines that can emboss a design on it.

After my tour of Alcatraz was cancelled, I needed to kill a few hours before I took the love tour. This is definitely the place to do just that. Antique strength testers, pinball machines of all ages and head to head tetris meant a mass exodus of quarters from my pocket. I asked the creepy gypsy fortune teller to make me big, but she must only do that for Tom Hanks or something........ I had a blast in here there is some really cool antiques here. Worth checking out.

A hidden gem in Fisherman's Wharf. Make sure you bring at least $20. This is a much better deal than many modern arcades. Most things here are only $0.25 which is an amazing deal. I spent at least an hour here. A great place to bring families and game lovers. It's too bad it's location is not ideal for foot traffic.

I remember this place from my childhood, yep, when it was at the Cliff House. The cost of the machines have gone up a bit, but worth the time. I promise it is the only museum where you get to touch and interact with the actual art pieces. So, go visit and take quarters. If you don't have quarters no worries, they have an ATM inside and change machines which dispense only quarters. WARNING: NO FOOD OR DRINKS ALLOWED.

This is an Awesome collection of old mechanical games and exhibits. Everything worked and operated on quarters, and there were quarter changers there. . Many things were over 100 years old. There were stereoscopes you look through, player pianos, dancing figurines, arm wresting machines, ring the bell, pinball, original video arcade games, and much more. Well worth vising and a lot of memories and fun.
